Jimmie Johnson is still in the lead for the race for the championship!  Last weekend’s race was very exciting and surprising.  Jimmie Johnson finished in sixth place but still is the points leader by 67 points.  Carl Edwards blew a motor and finished 33^rd.  Edwards is still in the running but has a lot of ground to cover in order to secure the championship.  The surprising turn of events is that Jeff Burton finished 1^st despite some risky calls by his crew chief.  Burton is now second in the points and a chase contender.  It’s a real nail biter folks!  I will keep you posted.
